Marianne Shaphran 

This is my 7th year of teaching public school. Before coming to Sumac L-STEM Elementary, I taught at Willow Elementary School and before that, I was teaching in the Pleasant Valley School District. Early in my educational career, I taught preschool and pre-K. I have a Bachelor’s Degree and a multiple-subject teaching credential from California State University Channel Islands. I love to see my students grow academically and socially throughout the year. When I am away from the classroom, I love to spend time with my husband and pets. I love to go to baseball games, be in nature, bake, and craft.
