My name is Eliana Castillo and this year marks my 24th year as an educator. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and my Master's degree in Multilingual and Multicultural Education from California State University Northridge. I recently completed my Preliminary Administrator Credential program and I continue to serve as the Teacher in Charge for our school.
I'm originally from Colombia, South America. I have two grown children Michael (27) and Samantha (23). I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach Dual language in several states including Michigan and Florida as well as in Quito, Ecuador. I moved to California from Boca Raton, Florida where I spent 9 years as a Dual Language teacher and program Coordinator in Palm Beach County.
I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family. I'm looking forward to another amazing year with my students. My email ecastillo@lvusd.org
