Due to COVID, this year we have altered the award hour requirements to be 15 hours less than the previously required years.

Platinum- 385

Gold- 85

Silver- 60

Bronze- 35

What is the Service Learning Certificate?

• It's an award designed to recognize exemplary students who go above and beyond the 15 hour Service Learning requirement.

• To receive an award, students who volunteer 50 (Bronze Award), 75 (Silver Award), and 100 (Gold Award) hours of their time must submit an application with their signed logs and a culminating 150 word reflection on how their Service Learning hours have impacted them.

Please know that the your required 15 hours count towards your 50, 75, or 100 hours.

Why should you apply for a Service Learning Certificate?

• If your application is approved, you will receive a certificate, a pin or medal.

When is the Certificate Application DUE ?

• In May- See deadlines page.

Do make up hours from previous years count towards the award?

• No. If you are deficient hours, those hours will not count for the current year.

Can I apply for more than one award each year?

• No. You can only apply for one of the three awards at the end of the year each year.
