Online, published writing should showcase proper grammar and conventions.
Check out the following slide deck for games, songs, and more. Review what YOU need to review. Coming SOON.
Also, see the Home Page under Student Resources.
Use the guidelines below for EVERY piece of writing you publish. This could be for book reviews, article summaries, writing assigned in class, and any other writing you do to show your learning of writing and reading skills. Remember, grammar is just as important in your speaking skills, as well!
At the minimum, your readers and listeners should be able to understand what you are trying to say. There are multiple errors and they often impede understanding. This would be a "D" in a gradebook.
A "C" might mean there are multiple distracting errors, but they don't always impede a reader's or listener's understanding of what you're trying to say.
A "B" would mean there are a few distracting errors, but your meaning is clear.
An "A" would mean there are very minor errors (if any!), and your meaning is clear throughout your writing or speaking.
**NOTE: You should have more writing than what is assigned - reflections and proof of your independent reading is up to YOU to show your learning.
