LVUSD Media Centers are an essential part of the LVUSD educational system, and provide important resources for learners of all ages. Besides books, our libraries provide access to computers, online databases, downloadable digital materials, quiet places where people can study, conversational places where young people can gather to work on school projects and meeting rooms for small conferences. Media Coordinators are responsible for the the inventory, distribution and maintenance operations for our textbooks and curriculum materials. All new adoptions must be properly accounted for, inventoried, barcoded and assigned through our library automation system. In addition, LVUSD libraries are the distribution center for Acer and Lenovo laptops that are available through our Forward Learning Program, and house our “Genius Bars” where students offer repair services!
