This course introduces the student to geometrical relationships and the concepts of formal deductive proof. Strong emphasis is placed on both algebraic manipulation and numerical calculation. Topics include congruency and similarity of triangles, parallel and perpendicular lines, area and volume formulas, properties of polygons and circles, coordinate geometry, and construction techniques.
