Art II

Students who have completed at least one full year of Art have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into developing skills and applying concepts.  This class allows for students to build on their fundamental skills  and experience with the elements of art.  Our curriculum emphasizes the principles of art and design.  Art II aims to connect student interests and backgrounds with their art, to develop a deeper appreciation of the artistic process and to challenge students through the development of independent and collaborative works.  Art II students have the opportunity to participate in art related field trips at various times throughout the school year.

Students will further develop skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage as well as have an opportunity to connect with our greater community through field trips and guest speakers.
