We made it! After a very long travel day, we arrived at Curry Village around 4:00 this afternoon. The students received a welcome orientation, received their cabin keys, moved into their cabins, and we just sat down for dinner. After dinner we will go back and get a little bit more settled in. Tonight we have our first night program, where we will walk to the Lower River Amphitheater to have a fun, interactive welcome program. Once we get back to camp, we will get ready for bed and try to go to sleep as quickly as we can so that we can wake up bright and early and get ready for our first day on the trail.
Currently the AQI is 52. It is really clear, and we can barely smell any smoke. YAY!
