SB29 requires that schools know what happens to student PII. As such, any website, software, or app that we use must have a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) on file with the school. If we do not have a DPA or the vendor will not sign a DPA, then we are not able to use that resource. Below is the Resource Approval Flowchart as well as a slideshow with more details.
