Intro to Computer Programming is a trimester long beginning level programming class for students who have little or no programming experience. Students will develop algorithms while programming in the C# language using the Visual Studio programming environment.
The course content includes, but is not limited to: computer systems, hardware/software, headers and directives, variables, strings, characters, algorithms, algorithmic and logical thinking, input/output, arithmetic, programming style, if statements, if/else statements, while loops, counters, for loop, nested loops, functions, Boolean values, arrays, methods, and classes. Course content will be practiced through realistic applications.
