Livermore High School Associated Student Body - Applications for the 26-27 School Year Open on January 14th
Thank you for your interest in becoming part of student government at Livermore High School. A strong work ethic and desire to make Livermore High School a better place for students and staff are key attributes in this process. Student leaders are seen by the school community and the community of Livermore as role models for younger students and peers. There is an expectation that as such, your behavior inside and outside of school will impact your ability to hold your position.
There are two types of positions that you can choose to pursue. The first type is elected positions. These positions are partially determined by a peer vote either from your class or the entire student body for ASB officer positions. The other parts are determined by your application, teacher recommendations, essay, interview and campaign video. The second type is appointed positions. These positions are determined by your application, teacher recommendations, essay, and interview. You can apply for an elected position and choose to be considered for an appointed position if you do not earn the elected position you tried for. (You will find a description for each postion towards the end of this page)
For all current 8th graders/incoming Freshmen, you will only be applying for class officer positions that will be appointed positions, not elected positions.

Why would you be a good fit for ASB Leadership or for the specific position you are applying for?
a. In your response, discuss your strengths, past experiences, and how you would positively contribute to the school community.
Campaign Video: If you are running for an elected position, create and upload a campaign video as part of the application. Remember this video will be seen by the election/appointing committee and it will also be available for LHS students to view. Please do your best to make a creative video that highlights your strengths and what you can do to better serve our school. The video can be 30-60 seconds and be in MOV or MP4 format.
