Percussion

The Lincoln High School Percussion competes in percussion competition at band reviews. Percussion students are required to enroll in a band class and marching band course. This ensemble rehearses with the marching band, and has additional percussion rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and some Saturdays according to the pre announced schedule .

At the end of the marching season, our focus shifts to winter percussion, which is a performance based indoor activity for marching percussion and front ensemble.  Auditions are held after the fall marching band season.  

Practice and performance schedules will be communicated at the beginning of each season so students can plan their full participation with the team throughout the entire season. Students are expected to maintain a 2.0 Grade Point Average throughout the season.
