Ambassador's Corner

Lumen Scholar Institute students may participate in the voluntary Student Ambassadors Program to gain leadership and service experience.

• Ambassadors positions are available in all grade divisions: Elementary School (4th & 5th Graders), Intermediate School, Junior High School, and High School
• The Ambassador Program is managed by designated Lumen employees (Ambassador Advisors)
• Quarterly leadership training and/or activities are provided by school administrators, guest speakers, community leaders, etc.
• Ambassador applications are accepted for consideration each April
• Ambassadors "terms of service" run from September through May
• Ambassadors may reapply consecutive years
• Ambassadors' leadership and service contributions may be utilized toward earning awards and recognition in the "Success of the Individual" Program

• Be respectful of the rules and atmosphere of Lumen Scholar Institute
• Be in good standing and current in submitting class assignments
• Be willing to assist students, teachers and staff and take initiative

Application are accepted in April for the following year; watch for announcements about the application process (Will be Available In April)

• Ambassadors' photos appear in the Ambassador sections of the SRC in each age division
• Ambassadors' photos are displayed on the Ambassador wall display in the Student Success Center at the Broadcasting Center

• Ambassadors are provided with swag to wear when carrying out their duties or when gathering for training, service, etc.
