Reading an unseen story at home.
Here are some ways you can support your child when reading their reading book at home. During the lockdown a lot of these stories will be unseen texts (books your child has not read before). This means they may need some prompting with names and tricky words. I always like to start with a picture walk, looking through the book and predicting what might happen by looking at the pictures.
