Mrs. Hernandez

Hello All!

My name is Chelsye Hernandez. I have been with LISD for 13 years.

I am from Lumberton, Texas and graduated at LHS in 2005. Growing up I babysat and worked in my church nurseries and VBS programs and eventually at a daycare in town. I knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher.

I am married to a graduate of Lumberton, Dale, and we have three great kids! Isabelle is in college at UT Tyler, Joshua is in 7th grade and HallyeJo is in 1st grade this year!

I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies.

I have been co-sponsor of the Grow Up Club since 2016. The Grow Up Club is a group of fantastic young people who want to make a positive impact on Little Raiders.

Tutorials:

I offer tutorials on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings. Tutorials start at 8:00 AM. Thursday mornings students can go to Mrs. Powell in room 204.
