The book: Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief
Here's short summary:
Percy Jackson, a troubled teen with ADHD and dyslexia, finds out he is a half-blood (part Greek god and part human), and he has to go to camp Half-Blood. At camp he is accused of stealing Zeus’s lightning bolt and now has to find and return it before the winter solstice, or Zeus will cause a war on Olympus, which would be terrible for everyone! Percy goes through a lot of challenges throughout his quest and journey while dealing with the fact that he isn't a regular human. Finally, after all of the chaos, he gets the bolt to Zeus and saves Olympus from war.
Here's why it is a good book and why you might like it:
It is a very interesting plot and storyline to follow throughout and I personally really enjoyed it. It is kinda like a fantasy book or fiction fantasy so if you like fantasy and Greek mythology this is the book for you. It is also somewhat funny to read because of the way the main character, Percy, describesof some of the villains/monsters, so even though it's a book with a lot of action and suspense, there is a good amount of humor too!
