Guidance and Counseling
Services are available for every student at Lindenhurst Middle School. The school counseling staff is readily available to assist students and parents with educational planning, interpreting test scores, career and occupational information or study skills help. School Counselors are also available to provide support with school, home and/or social concerns through individual or group counseling.
The Middle School, School Counselors are available to parents and teachers to assist in identifying students' academic needs and to develop a program that best meets those needs.
Students or parents who wish to speak with a School Counselor should contact the Guidance Department secretaries to arrange an appointment 631-867-3550.
In addition to our School Counselors, there are other support staff to ensure success. The Lindenhurst Middle School's support staff includes: Social Workers, Psychologist's and Nurses to assure that any and every problem can be assisted. Our Guidance Department maintains constant and close contact with the members of the student support staff.
