Visiting Team Information

Football: Varsity @ Abe Martin Stadium:

Parking & Locker Room Access: 

• Please park on the East Side of the stadium

  • 1. 1. Please enter through the maintenance road (before the grass fields) on Medford Road, you will pass the maintenance building, pass the softball and baseball field, and will come through where Jase Mager Field is on your right.

• If you have an “equipment truck/trailer” that has your field equipment, that truck can be parked on the opposite side of the stadium of your locker room on the southeast side.  This will give you direct access to the field.

  • Please note that our ambulance will park just inside that gate, along with some of our maintenance personnel. So we ask that you keep that driveway clear as much as possible.

  • Also, please let us know your approximate time of arrival and we will try to have someone there to assist you in getting your equipment to the field.

Note: Yellow Star for team buses, Yellow Diamond for equipment truck.

Taping Area(s):There are a few different areas in which you can tape. (note: your locker room is small for a 5A school/stadium!)

1. Covered concrete pad under the bleachers

2. Inside the Locker Room there is a recessed area near the shower area. 

3. Ramp area adjacent to the locker room.

Field:

2 - 12’ Aluminum Benches

1 - Electrical Outlet @ approx. 35 yd. line 

1 - Staffed Ambulance will be parked in the southeast corner of the field

1 or more - Physician(s) on the home sideline (provided they are not on call)

“NO’s on the sideline”:

• No powerade/gatorade

• No food or drink (except water)

• No sunflower seeds or tobacco products

Sub-Varsity Football and All Other Sports

• Sub-Varsity Football will have a full 50 gal. waterboy “cow”.

  • All other sports will have a 10 gal. Water Cooler w/  ice and water

• Ice Chest/Cooler w/ injury ice & bags (flexiwrap on request)

• Please bring your own water bottles!

For All Sports

• An AED and Vacuum Splints will be available on site.

• We will have a limited supply of extra sports medicine supplies available upon request.

• If you have athletes that need taping and/or wrapping procedures done, please have them bring the needed supplies with them.

• Please communicate with us in advance, whenever possible, to coordinate taping/bandaging needs.

• If athletes need any type of special treatments done by our Licensed Athletic Training Staff, again, please communicate those requests in advance.  No treatments will be performed on visiting team athletes unless prior communication is received.

• Also note, due to our policy, we cannot and will not distribute any type of medication to a student athlete, except for medical emergencies (i.e. hypoglycemia) and/or directed by a physician.
