Mariah Murray joined Lufkin ISD as Assistant Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2022 with primary coverage at Lufkin Middle School. Ms. Murray obtained her Associates of Arts from Tyler Junior College in 2017, Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2020, then went on to receive her Masters in Athletic Training from Stephen F. Austin State University in spring of 2022. Ms. Murray has worked with collegiate teams including basketball, tennis, soccer, softball and baseball. During her first year of the Graduate Athletic Training Program at SFA, Ms. Murray worked with SFA football, volleyball and women's soccer. She then went on to complete an internship with Lufkin ISD Athletics where she was hired on as full time staff the following year. Ms. Murray is in her fourth year of working Lufkin Sports Medicine.
