SUZANA SEARA RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS TEACHING OF EXCELLENCE AWARD

This marks Seara’s 22nd year in education, teaching 5th through 12th-grade math, currently teaching 8th-grade math, stating, “I have loved each part of my journey, but my heart is truly in middle school.”

Seara’s students were eager to share many positive attributes of their beloved teacher-  she has great energy and is always willing to share a laugh; she teaches so we all can understand the math concepts and will stop and help whoever may need it; she uses visuals which help a lot of us; she is very charismatic and really cares about us, she knows when your not ok and makes sure that are, she’s funny, and she doesn’t mind going off-topic once in a while to explain something we might not understand (like singing Kung-Fu Fighting!).
