Mission Statement

At Baird, our mission is to harness the potential of every child and encourage students to meet academic challenges with confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm. Students and staff at Baird are problem solvers. We work together to bring out the best in one another, respecting individual differences and celebrating all of our many achievements.

At Baird Middle School, we strive to develop strong relationships that encourage the academic, social and emotional growth for each and every one of our students. Through our focus on academic achievement, Baird Middle School students have many opportunities to engage in exciting learning that makes a difference today and in the future. Our after school activities extend this learning beyond the school day and even into the Ludlow community. As Baird students, you will feel part of a very special community that values you as an individual and encourages you as you navigate through the middle school years. Whether we are staff or students, we believe that our effort makes a difference in all that we do.
