Our School Community

What is special about our school community?

In this unit students begin to understand that people are members of a variety of communities, including family, classroom community, school, and local community. Students develop spatial reasoning skills by learning about basic school geography. Students also learn about the daily routines of school and begin to use chronology to examine the school day and school calendar.
