School History

History 

Longtan Elementary School was founded in 1898 as Long Yuan Public School. In 1950 the school was renamed Taoyuan County Longtan Township National School. In 1968, when nine-year compulsory education system was introduced, we were renamed Longtan Elementary School. Our school is more than 100 years old, a history spanning three centuries, and has played a significant role in local history.
