Students will effectively communicate through reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Students will be provided reading, writing, and speaking opportunities for critical and analytical response.

Students will be exposed to and learn appreciation for all literary genres.

Students will be exposed to literature from a thematic and historical point of view in order to make connections to themselves, others, and the world around them.
