Copyright law is nuanced, and not all media/resources can be copied and shared or exhibited freely. Although in rare cases, school districts have been fined for copyright violations, the biggest reason for educating yourself on the substance of the issue is so that as an educator, you can model proper use for students so they can protect themselves as well.
