Real World Learning XPs can take several forms. They may be projects that count for class and engage you with a real world business or community organization. They may also present an opportunity for you to be entrepreneurial and fill a need in the market with your own service, skill, or art. XPs could also be job shadowing experiences, visits to trade schools or partners, or consults with industry representatives who may come to SRA to speak on subjects related to your interests and strengths. Each XP will connect in some way to your PLP and will be a part of your learning journey. XPs will offer you the chance to experience something new in the presence of an expert and then reflect on what you're taking away or how it has changed you.
If you are interested in being involved, or you know of a group or person who would be a good partner for students, please fill out the form to the left or pass this link on to them to fill out. Information will go to SRA's Career Navigator, Dr. Steve Moore who will reach out shortly.
