Be it enacted by the Missouri YMCA General Assembly as follows:
An ACT To amend chapter 250, RSMo, by adding thereto two new sections relating to the prohibition of disposing of yard waste or other waste — penalty.
Section A. Chapter 250, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section to be known as section 250.500, to read as follows:
250.500 - Prohibition of disposing of yard waste or other waste. - It shall be prohibited to purposefully dispose of leaves, bark, brushes, grass clippings, small or large twigs, or other organic items in or along road drainage systems along state, county, or municipal roadways.
Section B. Chapter 250, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section to be known as section 250.510, to read as follows:
250.510 - Penalty. — Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of section 250.500 or failing to comply therewith shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a class C misdemeanor and shall be fined no more than $400.
