Meet Mrs. Gawlik

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Gawlik and I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade at J.T. Waugh Elementary School!  While this is my first year at J.T. Waugh, I spent the last 3 years teaching 5th Grade at A.J. Schmidt and I have many years of experience teaching in 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms.   I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education  from SUNY College at Fredonia and a Master of Science in Education from SUNY College at Buffalo.  I strive to ensure that every child's earning styles are addressed in a classroom that integrates fun, technology, and engaging, hands-on lessons.  I live in Elma with my husband and have 3 children, Cassie, Calvin, and Owen.  I love to go camping, ride my bike, go for walks, kayak, and work in my garden.  I also enjoy watching the Buffalo Bills and college football.  I am thrilled to be part of the J.T. Waugh family!
