This Week's Message to Families:

June. 15-19

Hi Everyone!

Reflection; looking back, giving thought or consideration to something. That is the type of reflection we are talking about this week.

Let's have some fun reflecting back on our school year. One of my favourite parts about the end of a school year is thinking about what I learned about myself through out the year. Each year is an opportunity to grow. We might learn something new about ourselves, develop more confidence or become more sure about our likes/ dislikes or interests.

The short video below talks about understanding our reflection. What we see when we look in the mirror and truly believing all the wonderful things about yourself. As we reflect on the school year, my hope is you will be able to remember all of the amazing things, people, experiences that have shaped you and made you feel proud of who you are.

Here is a fun end of year interview that can help you reflect back on the year. It is important to think about the times things went well but also the times you experienced challenges. Challenges can teach us, provide us with a chance to grow and learn. It is okay to make mistakes and it is okay to have challenges. When we learn to work through this we are becoming stronger and more confident. Take a few minutes to reflect on your school year, feel free to print this interview to complete or think of your own questions!
