LRHS Lightning Boosters Club Grant Information

Grant Eligibility

Athletic teams, academic clubs, organizations, and other student groups at Long Reach High School are eligible to apply for Boosters Club grant funding to help offset program expenses.

To qualify for grant approval, each group must meet the following requirements:

• Active membership in the Long Reach High School Boosters Club

• Parent Concession volunteer participation for your specific club or sports team

Both requirements must be fulfilled before a grant request can be approved.

Grant Review Process

• Grant requests are reviewed during the monthly Boosters Board meetings.

• Submit your request by the end of the month to be considered at the next meeting.

• The Boosters Board reserves the right to deny requests if membership or volunteer requirements have not been met.

Notification of Decision

Applicants will be notified of their grant request status following the monthly board meeting.

• Yearly Chapter Dues for the Youth Climate Institute Club

• Purchase new Poms and pay for entry fees for the POMS Club

• New School Marquee 

• Softball/Baseball Dugouts 

• Purchased Baseball Team Hats

• Purchased Food for SGA Battle of the Classes

• Helped Cover BSU Show Expenses

• Softball Fence - Anticipated Install May 2025

• Soccer Goal Post System - Ordered for August 2025 Delivery/Install

• Stadium Scoreboard - Anticipated Fall 2025
