Mr. Thibodeaux is beginning his first year as the band director at Comeaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, he is a graduate of Lafayette High School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He is the recipient of the inaugural Ring of Honor award with the Spirit of Northwestern where he was Principal Trumpet of the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra, A member of the Wind Symphony and Spirit of Northwestern Marching band, as well as an office worker for the band program. 

Passionate about music and teaching, Mr. Thibodeaux is excited to bring energy and fresh ideas to the Comeaux band program. He looks forward to building strong relationships with his students, supporting their growth as musicians, and continuing the proud tradition of excellence in the school’s music department.

In his free time, Mr. Thibodeaux enjoys spending time with his dog, Journey, and exploring the great outdoors. He especially loves visiting national parks, where he finds inspiration and relaxation in nature.
