Mr. Thibodeaux is in his first year as the band director at Comeaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, he is a graduate of Lafayette High School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Northwestern Sate University. There, He was the recipient of the inaugural Ring of Honor award, Principal Trumpet of the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra, A member of the Wind Symphony and Spirit of Northwestern Marching band, as well as an office worker for the band program. He studied conducting with Dr. Anthony Pursell and Trumpet with Mr. Galindo Rodriguez.

In his free time, Mr. Thibodeaux enjoys spending time with his dog, Journey, and exploring the great outdoors. He especially loves visiting national parks, where he finds inspiration and relaxation in nature.
