Background Checks:
As a reminder, as we move into spring and more opportunities open up for field trips and volunteering, the district requires a cleared background check be on file for every school year. February is Kindness Month!
A team of students has put together a great month of activities for February Kindness Month! Here are a few days to take note of:
February 21: Read with your buddy class
February 22: Do something kind for the lunch crew
February 26: Be kind to yourself and wear school appropriate pjs!
February 29: Write letters to a nursing home
Other ways to show kindness include writing a Post-It Note of kindness for someone's desk or locker. We are excited for the month of February to show kindness to ourselves, the adults in the building, our friends, and the community!
Spring Picture Day
Spring Picture Day will be Wednesday, March 27th. Only students who have orders in ahead of time will be photographed so please get your orders in!

Extended Absences:
Parents are encouraged to plan for family vacations or extended absences during periods when school is closed for regular school vacations so that students are not absent for any extended period of time. When that is not possible, if a student is absent for 5-30 calendar days, a form must be completed and returned to the office for approval. If approved, absences will be excused. The form can be found in the Important Links below (District Forms) or by emailing the office to have a copy sent home. Thank you!
