Garden Club Updates:
Another Fall Garden Club is in the books! Thank you to Ms. Deloria, staff, and parent support during our Fall Garden Club session. A special thank you shout out to the Rubley, Benson, Pschigoda, Rick/Scott families, along with Mrs. Luckritz for all the sweat equity and heavy lifting during the Garden Clean Up weekend! We are looking forward to our Spring Garden Club session!
Creative Canvas
We've had some nice groups staying after on Tuesdays with Mrs. Burchett and making some beautiful paintings! As we get closer to the holidays, a painting might be a great gift idea for a loved one.
Note for Parents on Lunches:
Our lunch crew puts so much time and care into making nourishing meals for our kiddos everyday and we appreciate them so much. As anyone can imagine, it's quite the production to feed almost 400 kids in a timely fashion. With that in mind, our lunch crew does not have the ability to microwave components of student lunches from home. At the elementary level, kids do not have access to their own microwave like they do at the middle and high schools. Some tips for keeping warm food warm include: pouring boiling hot water in a thermos to heat the metal before adding the hot food and then wrapping tin foil around the container to keep the heat in. Packing cold food in a separate bag can also help keep warm foods warm and cold foods cold. Thank you so much for your partnership with this!
