NNbD offers Design Time* in order to make an impact on their peers, school, community, and/or world. Students are encouraged to find a topic or idea that they have a passion for, then they are tasked with creating a plan to put their passion into action. We encourage students to find something that they are genuinely interested in to 1) provide evidence of skills they have learned and 2) positively impact others.

Examples: Art - painting murals in the school, Penpals (working with students from elementaries around the district), etc

Design Time: additional time allotted to students to apply the skills they learn in their four core classes plus interpersonal skills
