About Miss Almer

Welcome to Second Grade!

I am thrilled to have you!

A little bit about me: I'm an Arapahoe High School and Luther College graduate. I just finished up my Masters in Technology, Innovation, and Pedagogy with a focus in Online Learning this past Spring. I am passionate about utilizing technology in the classroom; I am Google Certified and am constantly on the hunt to find new tools we can use to aid in our learning. I am currently working through the LETRS program which focuses on phonics, and I am also Orton-Gillingham trained.

The 2020-2021 school year will be my sixth year of teaching and third year in second grade! In the past few years I have taught 4th and 5th grade. I am honored to be part of the Lenski Community!

In my free time, I love to downhill ski, run, and read.
