Ilana Craddock

Hi Ford Family! I’m Ilana Craddock, and I am so thrilled to be joining the Mental Health team at Ford. As a School Social Worker, my primary responsibilities include helping students access their education and be productive within the school environment. This includes helping to promote the academic, personal and social development of ALL students. I have the privilege to work with many students and families within the school, whether through classroom groups, small groups, individually, or collaboration with teachers and families.

My career started in 2005 in the Chicagoland area, with the last 5 years in LPS, and I can’t wait to continue my journey at Dr. Justina Ford Elementary! I truly enjoy working with all students and families to support their educational experiences.

My family moved to Colorado from Chicago a few years ago. My husband, son and I have enjoyed exploring the area through hiking, camping, and traveling all over with our dog, Ivy! Last year alone, I completed 60 hikes as part of the 52 Hike Challenge. We love traveling, in general, and my favorite type of vacation is anywhere near the ocean. Most weekends you can find us cheering on my son’s baseball team or spending time with friends and family.

I hope that students think of my office as a warm and friendly place, where they are always welcome, and where they can learn new skills and get help when needed. I look forward to getting to know all of you next school year!
