ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please Use the Crosswalk!

Before and after school we have had parents and children crossing the street without using the crosswalk. The safety of families at Runyon is extremely important and our crossing guards jobs are to make sure that everyone gets on and off of school property safely.

Membership ToolKit

What is Membership ToolKit? - Runyon PTO will be using Membership Toolkit again this year for our school directory, store for making purchases, and volunteer opportunities.

You should have already received an email from Membership Toolkit to get your new log in completed. Once you log in through your email, you then will be able to log in through the mobile app.

When you log in for the first time, you will be able to:

  • Make sure that your child is in the correct classroom/grade

  • Update any information that is currently in the system

  • Have the ability to opt out of having your family information shown to the other parents/only display information that you want other families to see

Click here to access the website.

If you have any questions, concerns or issues please contact Nacho Yogues @ runyontechnology@gmail.com

Attention King Soopers Shoppers

This is in effect starting April 1, 2019!

King Soopers has made changes to it's community rewards program. Runyon will no longer receive credit for recharges of your King Soopers community cards. You must enroll in King Soopers new rewards program in order for Runyon to receive credit.

How to Enroll in King Soopers new Rewards Program:

  • Login to www.kingsoopers.com

  • Under Savings and Rewards go to King Soopers Community Rewards

  • Click Enroll Now

  • Search for Runyon under Find an Organization

  • Click Enroll under Runyon Elementary

That's it! When you shop at King Soopers, just enter your phone number or swipe your King Soopers rewards card (not your old Runyon community card) and Runyon will receive credit. Anyone can link their King Soopers rewards card to Runyon - tell your friends and family!

PLEASE NOTE: You can continue to use the remaining balance on your old Runyon community card.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SAFEWAY HAS NOT CHANGED!

Information from Runyon Staff

Pick Up Procedures

Parents if you are picking your child up after school in our "Hug and Go" lane, please have your laminated sign, that has your child's name on it, on your dashboard. If you don't have one, please let us know.

No Dogs on School Property

Please remember that dogs are not allowed on school property during school hours. We have many children with allergies and animals can be unpredictable when there are many people surrounding them. This is also a District policy.

If you do bring your dogs to school—after school hours—please be sure to pick up after them. We have seen an increase in our furry friends leaving little "surprises" around the school grounds. We are planning on getting signs to remind all folks who visit our school grounds to please pick up after their furry friends.

Thank you!

Weather Procedures - SACC

The safety and security of students and staff are the highest priorities in our schools. With this in mind, we are providing some weather procedures for School Age Child Care (SACC).

  • LPS 1 hour delay: SACC will be on a 30 minute delay and open at 7:00 AM

  • LPS 2 hour delay: SACC will be on a 1 hour delay and open at 7:30 AM

  • After School Activities Cancellation and Early Dismissal: SACC will be open until 4:30 PM for those students already scheduled for the day.

For more detailed information and instructions for receiving weather-related text messages, click here.

If you did not receive these texts on Tuesday, May 7th please check the message preference settings in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We encourage you to make sure that both "Emergency" and "Priority Notification" are selected to receive text messages on at least one cell phone.

If you continue to experience difficulty with receiving text messages, email online support at OLRegSupport@lps.k12.co.us or you can also leave a message at 303-347-3553 and they will contact you as soon as possible.
