Welcome Back Pumas!

Aug. 5 | Pride Orientation Day

All 6th graders and new 7th/8th graders are invited to come and engage in activities to learn about Powell from our current 8th-grade PRIDE Leaders. This is  a great introduction and tour of our school. All students should bring a water bottle and be prepared to be outside.

• All 6th Graders: 9:00-11:00am 

• New 7th Grade and 8th Graders: 11:00am-12:00pm

Aug. 10 | Schedule Pick-up and Picture Day

All students are invited to pick up their schedule, and walk the building to find classrooms and lockers. Classrooms will be closed, but you are free to walk around. School pictures for the yearbook and student IDs will be taken in the big gym. 

• 9:00am - 12:00pm (session 1)

• 1:00pm - 3:00pm (session 2)

Aug. 11 | First Day of School

• 8:20am - 3:30pm - 6th Graders only (and any new 7th/8th graders)

• 10:20am - 3:30pm : 7th and 8th graders

Aug. 20 | Back to School Night, 6:00-8:00pm

Come learn about athletics at 6 pm in the gym. Starting at 6:30, you will have the opportunity to meet our teachers and walk your student's schedule.
