Student-Led Parent Teacher Conferences

October 12 and 13 from 4:00 - 6:30pm (doors will close at 6:15pm)

Please join us for our student-led parent teacher conferences. Visit your student’s classrooms with them as they update you on their progress and highlight some of their work. Teachers will be available throughout the conference time. No appointment is necessary. We look forward to seeing you!

Earn Points for Powell at Spooky Streets

Earn 2,500 when your family attends Spooky Streets on October 23, 4:30pm-7:30pm.

To credit Powell Middle School, take a photo of your family during the event, and upload your photo to earn 2,500 points per family. Look for a QR code on signs around the center, or visit shopsouthglenn.com/streetsmarts (click on CURRENT OFFER) for more info and a link to our special events form.

Register for the LPS Stride

Join Powell and the LPS community on Sunday, Oct. 25th for this great annual event! Whether you are a serious runner, a casual stroller or like to watch the action from the sideline, The Stride is for you. The morning event includes a Kids Fun Run and 5k, with contests for participation and school spirit! Prize money will be awarded to the winning school.

Library, Copy Center & STEM Volunteers Needed

We are looking for parent volunteers to help out during the week. Please select any shifts that work with your schedule!

STEM Classroom: preparing materials for projects - counting quantities of supplies and organizing kits of material, and making photo copies of handouts, tests, study guides.
Library/Media Center: help with tasks such as shelving books, organizing shelves, laminating, etc.
Copy Center: make copies for teachers/staff in the copy center.

Powell Fund Run is BACK!

Tuesday, September 29th

The 2nd Annual Powell FUND Run is here! This event will be more than just a fundraiser — it will be an all student participation activity during school hours that will be fun, promote good fitness and drive school spirit. We are trying to raise $30,000 and we can’t do it without your help!

How to Donate:

Donations will be accepted now through October 11, 2026.

Make an online donation using our online giving platform
Send a cash and check donation. Please fill out the Donation Form and return to Powell’s front office.
