Powell Showcase for Prospective Families

Tuesday, November 18th, 5:30-7:30pm (doors open at 5pm)

Powell Middle School invites you to our Showcase - an event that introduces families and prospective students to our campus through timed rotations of our academic programs, activities, and student support services. You will have an opportunity to meet the faculty, administrators, and counselors. Experience our Performing Arts student groups in action througout the evening. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and gain knowledge of what makes Powell a great place to learn and grow!

Register for the LPS Stride

Join Powell and the LPS community on Sunday, Oct. 26th for this great annual event! Whether you are a serious runner, a casual stroller or like to watch the action from the sideline, The Stride is for you. The morning event includes a Kids Fun Run, 5k, and 10k with contests for participation and school spirit! Prize money will be awarded to the winning school.

Library & Copy Center Volunteers Needed

Powell’s office and library staff are looking for volunteers to help out during the week. We have shifts scheduled through December, so you have the flexibility to volunteer for whatever week fits your schedule. Your help will be appreciated.

Library/Media Center: help with various tasks such as shelving books, organizing shelves, laminating, etc on Mondays.
Copy Center: make copies for teachers/staff in the copy center on Tuesday’s and Thursdays.

DETAILS: Mention Powell, or use the online code GIVEBACK and 20% of sales get donated to our school.

Enjoy eating out with your family while also helping raise money for Powell. Every month, Powell Middle School partners with a local restaurant to host a "Dining for Dollars" fundraiser event. A percentage of sales during our restaurant evening (or day) will be donated back to Powell Middle School.
