Anna Spillen graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001, earning a BA in Studio Painting with a concentration in oil and watercolors. She then moved herself and her love of nature out west to Colorado in 2002. Since moving to Colorado, Anna has earned her Colorado Teaching License and Masters of Education in Art K-12 from Regis University. She is currently the Chair of Art Council for the district and a member of Colorado Art Education Association. Since the start of her teaching career Anna has had gold, silver, and honorable mention winners in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, which is Colorado’s State wide art competition.
