I am a Littleton native, growing up a few miles from where I currently live with my husband of 34 years, Mike, and our rescue dog, Dungey.  My husband also works for LPS and we both attended LPS schools, as did our two grown children.  Our son Josh, his wife and our 2 granddaughters live in Florida, while our daughter, Jordyn, lives close by and also works in LPS.  

I am excited to be part of the Dr. Justina Ford Elementary Team, it is a huge honor!! Previously, I served the Mark Twain community as the School Age Child Care (SACC) Program Manager before opening the FoxStar program at Ford in 2021.  Before working in LPS, I was an Assistant Director at a private preschool in Douglas County as well as a Licensed Early Childhood Education teacher for many years. 

In my spare time I enjoy backyard parties, B-B-Q’s, camping, 4-wheeling, dirt biking, jet skiing, going for walks, NASCAR, Motocross, and going to races at local tracks. Just about anything fast and exciting with friends and family around me!!  My favorite color might be pink but this “princess” isn’t afraid to get dirty in the Colorado outdoors!!

My name is Ashleigh Maier and this will be my 8th year working in the SACC program. I started at Mark Twain Elementary as an Activity Lead and moved up to SACC Manager for Twain’s final year. I am so excited to be able to work as Assistant Manager here at Ford alongside Mrs. Steph. 

I am a Colorado Native and grew up here in Littleton, attended LPS and reside in Littleton now with my husband, our 1 year old daughter Lillian and our 2 dogs. I enjoy shopping, hanging out with family and friends and most of all being a mom.
