Hello! And a big, warm welcome to Kindergarten!
This is my 21st year teaching in LPS. I love learning and serving others, and I can’t wait to work with our youngest foxes as they start their path of life long learning. I graduated from the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!) with degrees in English and Political Science, but soon went back for my teaching degree and obtained my Masters in Elementary Mathematics. I have also earned my National Board Certification in Literacy, and I have a specialists certification in Gifted and Talented education. I just really like learning!
I love being part of the community at Dr. Justina Ford. We have the opportunity to set the path for students to thrive. Each Kindergarten classroom has a special mascot, and our classroom will be accompanied by Elephant & Piggie!
I have a daughter who attends Heritage High School, and spending time with her is my favorite thing ever. I also love time with my extended family, great friends, and my silly and giant dog named Chaco. Pickleball is my favorite activity!
Welcome to Ford Elementary. I am so excited to be a part of your child's kindergarten year!
My daughter, Cameryn, will be a sophmore this year. It's absolutley crazy how fast the time goes!
A picture of me as a Kindergarten student - back in 1987!
Chaco is a big, lovable goofball!
*Don't be fooled; not many days are as spiffy as this one!
