FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I send snack/water bottle with my child?
Yes, please send a small healthy snack for your child to eat in the morning. Raisins, crackers, apple slices and pretzels make great choices! Sending items in packaging that your child can open independently is very helpful. Keeping your child’s snack separate from their lunch is also very helpful. Since we often have children with food allergies, we will encourage the children to not share food with their classmates. Please send a water bottle daily.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! More information will be provided at Back to School Night.
Can my child bring toys/electronics?
Toys can be brought to be played with at recess only. Smart Watches are allowed unless it becomes a distraction for the student or other students.
What if my child misses school for more than a few days?
If your child is going to be absent from school, please call the office directly with this information. When a child is absent, any make up work will be sent home when he or she returns to class. For longer vacations or absences, a student may be expected to make up some of the work upon his or her return to school. As a general policy, classroom assignments are not given prior to vacations. Pacing of assignments in each classroom is constantly adjusted in order to meet the overall needs of students as a class; and providing assignments prior to vacations taken while school is in session complicates things for others.
When are library books due? Every Monday

Please keep in mind the feelings of other children and do not send party invitations to school unless the whole class is invited.s the entire class is invited.
