All About Me
My name is Melissa Baumgartner and I am a native to Colorado. I am a Littleton graduate and graduated from Heritage High School. I have been teaching for 15 years and have taught grades K-2. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be the Assistant Principal at Franklin Elementary, Highland Elementary and Gudy Gaskill Elementary. I love being a part of the Littleton community and the outstanding district we work for.
I graduated college from the University of Northern Colorado and then attended Colorado University in Denver to get my Masters in Educational Psychology. I then returned to the University of Northern Colorado to get my Principal Licensure a few years later. All of these experiences have furthered my passion for teaching and seeing students grow daily. I am so excited to continue my career at Wilder Elementary and work alongside an amazing team of teachers and administrators to help students reach their highest potential.
Family is so important to me! I love spending time and going on adventures with my husband, baby boy and our dog! They are my world!
I look forward to meeting all of you and having an amazing Second Grade year!
