Hi! I am Mrs. Verdie and I work at Newton on Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Wednesday! Susie Swingler is in the office on the days I am out and together we support students with the last names L-Z. This is my 5th year at Newton and I am excited to be back for another wonderful year! I got my BSW at CSU (go Rams!), and my MSW at Metro. I recently had a baby girl and love being a mom! I also enjoy reading, hiking, being outside, and traveling!

I love working with middle school students and am here to support however I can! Please reach out if your student needs any support. We are here for you!
