I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with an undergraduate degree in elementary education and later returned for an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology.

I spent my early career in the elementary classroom, in public and private schools in Colorado and overseas in Seoul. 

I have a daughter in high school and a sweet rescue-doodle named Hudson. My daughter and I enjoy watching crime documentaries and attending K-pop concerts together. Hudson hopes to become a therapy dog one day, once he learns to stop chasing rabbits. 

 I coach 8th-grade track and field, serve as an assistant coach for 8th-grade girls' volleyball, and co-coordinate the student council.
