About me:

This year marks my 4th as a school counselor, but I have worked with teenagers in various capacities for almost 30 years. I moved to Littleton Public Schools in 2004 and taught English/Language Arts at both Littleton High School and Arapahoe High School 2019, when I became a counselor. I have also been involved in the district as a Wilder, Goddard, Powell, and Heritage parent. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Colorado and work part-time as a clinical therapist, where I do trauma-informed work, mainly with adolescents.

As your school counselor, I will be helping in several capacities. In the academic realm, I advise students about classes, check in with them about grades and attendance, and help them pursue meaningful post-secondary opportunities. The other major component of my job involves counseling, supporting and advocating for students, both directly and indirectly. I have my own office/classroom at Voyager, and students will always be welcome there, assuming another adult on our team doesn’t have a need for their presence at that moment. I want to emphasize that, although struggle is a major component of growth and will happen to all students in some capacity at some point, I am always here to help them reflect, process, and maneuver as they grow. Please use me as a resource!
