Kirt Woodman is a veteran educator and coach with more than 20 years of experience working with high school students and athletes. He currently teaches social studies at Heritage and has served in multiple roles throughout his career, including teacher, coach, and assistant principal. His coaching background spans several sports, including football, golf, basketball, softball and soccer. He focuses on building strong fundamentals, good relationships, teamwork, and a positive competitive culture.
Coach Woodman is passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field. He believes athletics are a powerful platform for developing leadership, resilience, and confidence. His approach emphasizes effort, accountability, and supporting teammates—values he hopes players carry with them long after the season ends.
Outside of school, Coach Woodman enjoys spending time with his family and staying active, particularly through golf, another sport he coaches and plays regularly. He is excited to be part of the flag football program and looks forward to helping grow the game while creating a fun, competitive experience for every athlete.
Coach Woodman wants to thank his beautiful and supportive wife Julie and his two daughters Annie (13) and Emilia (9) for their support and encouragement of his coaching duties.
