GODDARD PTO
GODDARD PTO
Dear Goddard Families,
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! We are excited to welcome new students and families to our community.
As parents of Goddard Middle School students, we are 𝗔𝗟𝗟 members of the Parent Teacher Organization. Volunteerism is an important part of our culture and provides so many opportunities to enrich our students' educations.
Who We Are
We are the parents, guardians, teachers, and staff dedicated to enriching the education of our 6-8th grade students.
Share your gifts with us—we welcome participation from our Goddard families at any level.
Please reach out to our PTO President to share your time or your talents, or to learn more.
What We Do
The Goddard PTO plays an important role in the Goddard Middle School Community, and we strive to:
Communicate with parents/caregivers about school activities and district information.
Promote and encourage a close relationship between parents/caregivers, the principal, and teachers.
Support and enhance the school through fundraising.
Participate in the Goddard Accountability Committee (“GAC”).
Advocate for the school at the district level.
To support these objectives, the PTO has established committees and volunteer opportunities to engage parents in the education process. From executive leadership positions to small project support, there are countless ways to get involved throughout the year.
The PTO is always looking for volunteers in various capacities. Please email goddardptopres@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out. Also, please join us for our monthly meetings held in the office conference room at 9:30am on the third Thursday of the month. www.littletonpublicschools.net/o/goddard/page/calendars
We are currently (26-27) needing:
Secretary
Tech person (this is very simple, just need to know how to cut and paste)
School store lead (means you get the sign up made and sent to the people to get it out to the Goddard community)
Goddard Store
What a fun way to help out the school while seeing your kids in action with their peers? Volunteer in our school store, which is located in the cafeteria! The school store is held open during lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students can use their PR2 slips of paper that are given out by their teachers for demonstrating good behavior (Positive, Respectful & Responsible); no actual money is needed/exchanged! You may stay as long as your schedule allows. Just sign in at the front office and then grab the key to the store from the counseling office. We appreciate your time and support!
Sign up here to volunteer in the school store on a Tuesday or Thursday this semester:

Teacher Testimonials
6th Grade Language Arts:
"The 6th grade language arts teachers used the grant money to publish individual anthologies for each of the 6th graders. They got to write their own poetry, journals, and stories and then illustrate their pieces. Each student will be able to keep this 20-page, color book to remember their historic 6th grade year."
7th Grade Math:
Geoboards - Great for kinesthetic learning (graphing lines, plotting coordinates)
8th Grade Math:
Interactive Flat Panel - Great for students to present their thinking to the class!
PTO - As always, I am humbled and grateful for all the support you give students, teachers, and everyone at Goddard. With this year's teacher grant I purchased 24 charging cords for 6th grader computers. Due to the district's budget constraints, 6th graders received some older Chromebooks. Not only that, but there are three different types each requiring a different type of charger. Our 6th grade teachers were having difficulty helping students keep their computers going for the day so the chargers were a lifesaver. Thank you very much.

GMS has two winners of the Joint PTO Scholarship!
Ms. Gadell and Mrs. Mena won support to help them bring new strategies to their outstanding work with students.
We are so proud of them!
