The PTO financially supports Goddard by helping fund a variety of items such as technology enhancements, staff development, classroom materials, and student events such as the Fall Festival, after school enrichment programs, and the Challenge Course.

PTO Myth Busters
MYTH: The PTO is just for stay at home moms
FACT: The PTO is for everyone and in fact some of our greatest helpers are moms and dads who work outside the home. We are so grateful for the time they make for our school.
MYTH: The PTO has all the help they need
FACT: We are always in need of volunteers for variousevents and committees year round. We could use any free minutes you have to spare.
MYTH: Volunteering for the PTO takes too much time
FACT: Only YOU can decide how much time you can provide.Even if you only help with one event per year, we would greatly appreciate it!
MYTH: PTO volunteers need to be at school during the day
FACT: While our meetings take place during the day, there are many other ways you could help out. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out: Goddardptopres@gmail.com
MYTH: The PTO has the same volunteers year after year and everyone already knows each other.
FACT: While we are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who return, we love having new people join us!!
