Our main purpose of the Parent/ Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enrich the educational experience of our children attending East Elementary. We work in partnership with teachers and administrators by collaborating thoughts and ideas on how parents of students can best support our school.

Parent involvement lays a foundation for building a strong PTO, which in turn enhances the educational environment for our children. We want to encourage all parents, relatives, guardians and caregivers to get involved! Many volunteer opportunities require minimal time and any contribution, big or small is valuable.
East PTO Family Nights are attended by the principal as well as classroom teachers and staff members to increase communication between faculty and parents. We want East Families to feel good about our students’ learning experience, so we invite you to attend our PTO Family Nights where we engage and interact as a school community to build an environment to better serve our students and each other.
Fundraising events held throughout the year aim to enhance the experience for every child. PTO Fundraisers support the staffing of a playground supervisor and this past year, contributed to the funding of the new STEM Lab. Money raised by the PTO also supports fun events like the Annual Dragon Dance, teacher and staff appreciation and other holiday celebrations held throughout the year. Our yearly fundraisers include
Your King Soopers Loyalty Cards are one of our biggest and easiest fundraisers to take part in! This fundraiser has no cost for participation. Simply register your loyalty card with East Elementary through your King Soopers online account. East Elementary PTO will receive a portion from all transactions made with the simple scan of each loyalty card that is registered with our PTO.

Box Tops for Education are collected throughout the year. Please cut and collect box tops and send them in to your child's teacher, or put them in the box tops box located in the front lobby.
